Come sit in the silence, just for a bit
It’s a simple act, you just have to sit
Don’t try to do nothing, or anything at all
Just sit there and don’t even stare at a wall
Don’t try to listen, or try not to think
Don’t try to not try to not do anything
Just sit there not waiting and not doing that, too
Not doing anything not even being you
Let the silence show you the emptiness
That is somehow filled up with endlessness
It’s a chance for the silence to clean out your mind
There’s no telling what you might not find
There’s no telling what you might not hear
When everything but silence just disappears
Sit in the silence without even your thoughts
Just silence without any pepper or salt
Uncooked and raw and so hard to swallow
A silence so dense you think it sounds hollow
Let the silence show you the emptiness
That is somehow filled up with endlessness
